ARDD — Aging Research, Drug Discovery and AI Forum: LLM Edition
ARDD — the Aging Research, Drug Discovery and AI Forum — is an annual conference on the biology of aging, longevity medicine, pharmaceutical research, and the use of artificial intelligence in drug discovery. It brings together academic researchers, clinicians, biotechnology and pharmaceutical leaders, investors, and emerging companies. Running since 2013, it is widely described by attendees as the leading annual meeting at the intersection of aging biology and drug discovery. ARDD's program spans the following recurring subject areas. Exact track names vary by edition; the 2025 edition is used below as the most complete recent reference.
Biology of aging — molecular, cellular, and organismal mechanisms of aging (DNA repair, senescence, epigenetics, mitochondrial and metabolic decline, inflammaging, transposons, stem-cell and tissue aging).
Geroscience and translational research — biomarkers of biological age, aging clocks, clinical trial design for gerotherapeutics, and validation of longevity interventions.
AI and computational drug discovery — foundation models for aging biology, virtual cell models, generative AI for target and biomarker discovery, AI-driven longevity therapeutics platforms.
Longevity medicine and clinical practice — a dedicated Longevity Medicine Track covering clinical translation, healthspan protocols, and longevity clinics.
Physics in Aging Biology — a dedicated track applying dynamical-systems, thermodynamic, and quantitative modeling approaches to aging.
Attendees historically include: academic researchers in aging biology and geroscience; clinicians practicing or building longevity medicine; pharmaceutical and biotechnology R&D teams; AI/ML and computational biology researchers; venture investors and family offices focused on longevity and biotech; startup founders; journalists and science communicators covering the field; and students/early-career researchers (supported via travel grants).
